CHANGE ORDERS

The excavation scope of any project can have many "unknowns" and therefore is know for change orders and back charges to the client.

Solution

Rickabaugh Construction prides itself on value engineering and helping the client head off potential costly changes by providing thorough plan review upfront. Rickabaugh is also very familiar with all the local jurisdictional requirements, different types of soil and rock and utility requirements, many times not accurately shown on the plans. By getting involved early and putting our extensive experience to work, Rickabaugh can drastically reduce unforeseen project costs for their client.

ORGANIZATION & CLEANLINESS

The excavation phase of any project involves massive disturbance to the earth. From mass grading, blasting and crushing to utility installation and final grading, there is much that goes on during the early phases of any project. These activities are notoriously messy and many sites are left with piles of dirt scattered across the site and open holes that pose a safety risk if someone were to fall in after hours.

Solution

From clean well maintained equipment to meticulously organized job sites, Rickabaugh provides organization and cleanliness throughout the excavation process. This assures the client the site is safe and their investment is protected. Clean sites are also better for marketing and showing to prospective buyers. Cleanliness instills confidence.

COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION/TEAMWORK

Nothing is more frustrating for the client than being the last to know or being in the dark about problems or challenges on their project. Frustration and irritation also creep in when the contractor seemingly is just "doing his own thing".
